BalletRox is proud to offer students a unique opportunity and experience to assist with the development and growth of this one-of-a-kind community organization.
The BalletRox Arts Administration & Nonprofit Management Training Program is well-suited for the graduate, undergraduate student or recently graduated student interested in pursuing a career on the business side of the dance and arts industry. The program provides students with hands-on opportunities and training in the following areas Communications (Marketing/Public Relations, Social Media, and Archives), Development and Fundraising (Grant Writing and Reporting, Donor Cultivation and Stewardship), Operations (Board Development, Business and Finance, and Human Resources), and lastly, Programs (Summer Youth Arts Program, External Schools Partnerships, Recital Preparations and Technical Theatre, and Holiday Extravaganzas, etc).
Your Next Steps
By joining the BalletRox Arts Administration & Nonprofit Management Training Program, you are considered a team member. Guided by BalletRox staff, you will work alongside each of the Directors and Managers within our various departments. Choose one or more pathways that best matches your interests to focus and learn news skills and knowledge as a budding arts administrator — or, consider changing your placement midway through the program to maximize your experience.

Access Dance Leaders in The Industry
During our program, you will have access to a myriad of professionals from a variety of dance genres and organizations, who are actively involved with supporting and advancing the mission of BalletRox. You will meet national and international leaders and build vital relationships throughout the city and country. Our network is vast and includes board members, patrons, funders, and former students located across the world. So be ready to jump right in as a new team member!

You’ve already mastered your academic studies and proven you’re a leader. Take your career to the next level by applying for a BalletRox Fellowship or Internship today.
The Fellowship is a one-year commitment to BalletRox beginning the month of August or September each year.
An Internship typically runs the course of 3-6 months, during the Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer.
