BalletRox is seeking passionate, enthusiastic, and reliable Dance Teachers to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is committed to cultivating a fun and enriching learning atmosphere, with comfort in facilitating age-appropriate dance instruction for students ages 2-18. We are looking for instructors with the availability to teach the following classes:

• Creative Movement 
• Combo Ballet/Tap 
• Pre-Ballet 
• Beginning Ballet 
• Hip-Hop 
• African
• Jazz/Musical Theatre

Qualifications:

• Advanced training in Ballet, Modern, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap or other genres
• Compassionate, professional, and considerate individuals
• Competence with lesson planning and classroom management
• Ability to teach a variety of styles
• Professional dance education background (including BFA, BA and/or MFA) preferred

• Strong and independent work ethic

• Commitment for the entire school-year with the ability to teach during weekday afternoons/evenings and/or Saturday mornings/afternoons

• Experience with teaching dance is highly preferred, but open to professional dancers looking to segue into children’s dance education and willing to participate in professional development 
• Must successfully pass a background check
